Techncal Writer - Electrical Trades

Rate: £Competitive (contract/temp (per hour)) + Salary Negotiable

One of the UK's largest vocational training providers are seeking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Technical Writer in the Electrical Trade to join their dynamic and expanding team.

The Role:
* Taking existing manuals and training material and developing new student training manuals and self - study guides for students studying nationally recognised qualifications.
* Plan documentation, and write effectively for the target audience
* Produce professional and user friendly technical documentation


The Candidate:
* Proven experience in choosing an appropriate writing style
* Proven experience in structuring technical documents effectively for maximum impact
* Knowledge of the electrical trade would be a distinct advantage but is not essential
* Excellent standard of written language
* Graphic Design awareness
* Ability to communicate for information for a particular audience group and be able to then structure the information logically

This is initially for a 3 month contract subject to being extended.
